It will form around the mouth with red rashes. This is where the name perioral comes from. Perioral means in related to or occurring to tissue around the mouth. Pustules like acne can form on top of these red patches. Many times it will look just like Roscaea skin and Acne. It can spread to the chin, nose or below the eyes. The red patches will be very itchy.

Stop using heavy steroid products there is a possibility that you may see a small flare up but ti will go away after a week or so.

Use a bland toothpaste. If this does not help use a natural treatment like Acnezine or talk to your doctor.

Avoid the use of heavy compounded cosmetics or skin care products. You can heal much faster this way. Doctors will prescribe antibiotics to combat the bacteria but natural means can be used as well.
